Millesimo is one of “Italy’s Finest Medieval Villages”. It is certainly worth of a visit because of the Del Carretto castle, the fortified bridge called “della Gaietta or Ponte Vecchio” with a very well-preserved medieval tower, the church Saint Mary extra muros, the parish church Saint Anthony and the chapel of the Visitation.
